Station 366 is a group singing mostly American Swing from the 1940s.
Our FaceBook page is at: https://www.facebook.com/station366/

You can watch a video showcasing some of our activities in 2024 and listen to us if you click here. The words and music of our signature tune, Station 366, were co-produced by members of the group with sound engineering by Robertsville Sound Studio and David Jacobs.
We sing in close harmony and have been much influenced by groups such as the Andrews Sisters. Our songs include Sing Sing Sing, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Rum and Coca Cola, In the Mood and Chattanooga Choo Choo.
We took our name, Station 366, from the World War 2 American Air Force base in the small village of Metfield, Suffolk where we rehearse. (One of more than 60 American bases in East Anglia.)
American Air Force personnel began arriving in Metfield in 1943 and the village population ballooned from around 200 to over 3,000. For some it would have been a time of great excitement and we try to capture this adrenalin rush in our performances which are ultimately all about having fun.
