Daisy’s Chain is set in World War II and reflects my fascination with the hidden, irregular side of war.

Windows on the World was the first book I wrote. Set in Minefield, a fictitious village in Suffolk, it is a series of short stories that follow the fortunes of those staying in a local bed and breakfast.

The Hardy Brothers began following a disastrous holiday in Morocco when I discovered it was the centre of hashish production and distribution.

Operation Bite Back is set in Cyprus in 1954. I was married in Cyprus and inspired by my father’s tales of National Service so the two things came together.

This reminder book has a set of 24 short poems, one for each day of Advent. It originated in a game I played each Christmas with my father in the years after my mother died.

Alkzair’s Quest follows the adventures of a wizard, a dragon and a pixie. I love magic and fairy tales. Enid Blyton’s ‘Faraway Tree’ books enchanted my childhood and have stayed with me throughout my life.
